My Personal Perspective of Nursing

Nursing is a trade that I have admired for over fourteen years. It was not until my aunt had a stroke that I began to pay help to the profession. I would go to the hospital and sit with her every wickedness for hours at a time. The nurses would come in to care for her and inform everything they were doing. After a couple of weeks of being in an reveal of the hospital visiting her, I told her daughter and son-in law that I melodic theme I could be a nurse. Several years later my sons father was wrestling with a friend and he was dropped. His seventh vertebra was fractured. Again I found myself in the Trauma social unit linked up with the nurses that were caring for him. They too explained in specific what they were doing and what needed to be done. After brainstorming about what my procedure in life is, I realized how much I enjoy helping and caring for others. My philosophy is easily carried into my schoolmaster life. While attending school, I serve t subjects at a local restaurant. Again I am working with others in an environment where care and compassion is needed for both the customer and my co-workers.




Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. (Hurley, 2012) When thinking about what is required of a nurse, he or she is the exact definition of the word philosophy. My side on nursing as a career is to be a patient advocate through communication, education, and to be able to apply critical thinking, and decision making skills to help break off the patients nearly being. It will be important to provide the highest timbre of care possible, and to achieve excellence in the profession, as well as, provide a respectful healing environment.
