Sociologists and political scientists study all aspects of human society and political systemsfrom friendly carriage and the telephone line of social groups to the origin, development, and operation of political systems. Their search provides insights into different ways individuals, groups, and governing bodys make decisions, exercise power, and respond to change. Through their studies and analyses, sociologists and political scientists call forth solutions to social, business, personal, and governmental problems.

The three year course offered at RTC familiarizes us to the different governmental and non governmental organizations, study of different social and political groups and as well provides us the ability to do research on various groups or ethnicities.



We also conducted an Anthropological research on the village of Namselling in Thimphu Dzongkhag. This was crucial in fortune us understand the various institutions like family, religion, education, local government and the role of social problems in the daily life of the locals. This also helped us understand our own social systems in a comprehensible manner. We could study our society and social behavior by examining the groups, cultures, organizations, and social institutions people form. We also studied the activities in which people participate, including activities conducted in social, religious, political, economic, and business organizations.
